Follow-up to ifilm cop series ‘The Special Unit’ in development

ifilm hit ‘The Special Unit’ starring Iran actor Hamid Goudarzi goes to second season by the name of ‘Police Patrol’.

The new TV production directed by  Mehrdad Khoshbakht recently finished shooting and is currently at the technical stage.

The new cop series is a follow-up to ifilm hit series ‘The Special Unit’ starring Goudarzi along with Shahed Ahmadlou and Mahmoud Pakniyyat and Daryoush Asadzadeh.

The Special Unit is the story of three police officers who make selfless efforts to accomplish their missions successfully.

The series shows how they deal with different cases of robbery, kidnapping, murder and so on, with the help of an experienced commander and a headquarters-based tech-savvy colleague.

Besides their professional relationship, the officers are close friends who help each other in their personal life as well.

The second season’s main actor includes Farhad Ghaemian, Borzou Arjmand, Amir-Reza Delavari and Reza Karimi.

‘Police Patrol’ narrates the story of four law enforcement officers involved in urban operations in different locations.
